Inauguration of Kamala Surayya Memorial Library, Perumpadappa Panchayath

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Kamala Surayya Memorial Library in Perumpadappa Panchayath, the MTM College Library and Readers’ Club jointly contributed books worth approximately ₹5,000 to the panchayath library. The books were handed over by MTM College Librarian Faisal Bava to Adv. E. Sindhu, President of the Perumpadappa Block Panchayat. In recognition of his contributions to library initiatives and literary endeavors, Faisal Bava was honored with an award during the event. The Kamala Surayya Memorial Library was formally inaugurated by the esteemed MLA, Nandakumar P. The event was presided over by Smt. Bineesh Mustafa, President of Perumpadappa Panchayat. Distinguished guests, including Wakf Board Chairman Adv. M.K. Sakkeer, Block Panchayat Member Ajayan, and Panchayath Secretary Sajan P. Jacob, extended their felicitations. The program commenced with a welcome address by Nisar, Vice President of Perumpadappu Panchayat, and concluded with a vote of thanks by the Panchayat Librarian, Preman. The event marked a significant step in promoting literary activities and fostering community engagement through the establishment of the new library, with collaborative efforts from the MTM College Library and the Perumpadappa Panchayat.
