The Department of Commerce, MTM College, in association with IQAC, successfully organized the HACE programme on 3rd February 2026 at N1 Hall and N2 rooms. Ms. Maya C, Head of Commerce, welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of aptitude assessment in shaping careers. Resource person Mr. Sibi Thattil, Director of Hedvige Academy, facilitated interactive tasks and assessments to gauge students’ abilities and career inclinations.
The programme aimed to identify strengths and career potential of 120 BCom students through aptitude and skill assessments. Activities included quantitative assessments, logical reasoning, and personalized counselling. Feedback indicated the programme was highly beneficial, providing clarity on career choices and boosting confidence.
The HACE programme exemplified effective industry–academia collaboration, enhancing employability and personal development. It empowered students to recognize their potential, fostering informed career decisions. The Department plans to institutionalize similar initiatives with IQAC to sustain skill-based career counselling.
