NPTEL Orientation Programme

The Department of Sociology, in association with IQAC, organized an NPTEL Orientation Programme on Friday, 31 July 2026, at 11:30 AM in the N8 Classroom for BA Sociology students. The programme was organized to familiarize students with NPTEL courses and online learning opportunities that support academic and skill development. Mr. Abdul Wasih K.K., Head of the Department of Sociology, delivered the introductory speech and highlighted the importance of online learning and certification courses. Dr. Muhammed Shefeeer, Vice Principal, served as the resource person and provided students with an orientation on NPTEL, its academic relevance, and its role in higher education and skill development. Students were encouraged to explore NPTEL courses and engage in self-directed and continuous learning beyond the regular curriculum.
