World Ozone Day Observation – “Protect Ozone, Protect Life”

The Nature Club of MTM College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Veliyancode, in association with IQAC, is organizing a World Ozone Day Observation Programme on 16 September 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Seminar Hall. The programme aims to create awareness among students about the importance of the ozone layer, the threats posed by ozone-depleting substances, and the need to protect our environment. The session will also encourage students to adopt environmentally responsible practices and contribute to the protection of the Earth. The programme will begin with a welcome speech by Ms. Rahyanath PV, Nature Club Coordinator, followed by the inaugural/presidential address by Dr. Rajath K, Principal. Mr. Faisal Bava, PRO, will deliver the guest talk on the significance of ozone protection and environmental conservation. The programme will also include felicitation by Dr. Mohammed Shafeer KP, Vice Principal, and Mr. Sahad C T, College Librarian. The programme will conclude with the vote of thanks by Ms. Arshadha Asharaf E A, S3 B.Com student. The observation is intended to inspire students to understand the importance of the ozone layer and to become responsible participants in protecting the environment.
