World Computer Literacy Day has been celebrated annually on December 2nd of every year. The world operates on the computer and digital gadgets. They have become an essential thing in everyday life shortly. World Computer Literacy Day is observed to promote awareness about the computer and electronic devices.

On the occasion of World Computer Literacy Day[2-12-2012 Thursday], MTM College IT club students introduced Computer tools and parts to the students of GMLP Veliyancode. 10 students from IT club represented. Under the leadership of IT club members, computer equipment and the uses were explained. An awareness of computer possibilities was given. The computer painting workshop was also a part of the program.It was a 1 hour class.The students were given an opportunity to do practical.The active participation of children was  the highlight of the programme
