The Department of Sociology, MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Veliyancode, in association with IQAC, organized a session titled “Bridging the Sociological Mind” on 12th November 2025 at 10:00 AM. The programme aimed to enhance students’ sociological understanding and encourage them to develop a reflective and analytical approach towards society. The sessions were handled by Ms. Asma Sherin U and Ms. Mubashira K P, Assistant Professors in the Department of Sociology. Both speakers engaged the students in insightful discussions that emphasized the importance of sociological imagination in connecting personal experiences with larger social structures. The event provided an excellent platform for students to explore the depth and scope of sociological thinking, thereby fostering critical perspectives and academic curiosity.
