End of an Era- Madhav Gadgil Memorial programme

A memorial programme in honour of the late environmental scientist Madhav Gadgil was organized by the Nature Club of MTM College, Veliyancode, on 12 January 2026 at 2:30 pm in the Seminar Hall. The programme was presided over by Principal Mr. Abdul Kareem, and the memorial address was delivered by Mr. Faisal Bava, College Librarian and environmental activist. Speeches were also delivered by Ms. Rahiyanath, Nature Club Coordinator; Mr. Shyam Prasad, Assistant Professor; and Mr. Shamhan, Student Union Chairman. About 60 students participated in the programme. The welcome address was given by Ms. Sithara Jahan (S4 BBA), and the vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Mohammed Irfan (S2 BCom A).
