Football League Tournament

The Department of Physical Education, in association with the Ernesto Students Union, organized a Football League Tournament at MTM College, Veliyancode on 06.02.2026 at the college football turf. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal, Abdul Karim, who emphasized the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, and physical fitness among students. A total of 13 teams from various departments actively participated in the tournament, making it a lively and competitive event. The matches were conducted smoothly with great enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of sportsmanship and unity among the participants. The tournament concluded with First Year B.Com team emerging as the champions, while Second Year BBA team secured the runners-up position. Trophies and cash prizes were distributed to the winners and runners-up in recognition of their outstanding performance. The event was a grand success, encouraging students to engage in sports and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle on campus.
