The Arts and Music Club of MTM College conducted the inauguration of the Thalam music band and logo reveal on 17th July 2025. Renowned ghazal singer and Patturumal fame Shihab Palappetty was the chief guest who inaugurated the event. Mr. Faisal Bava, Librarian, delivered the welcome address, followed by the presidential address by Principal Mr. Abdul Karim K. The official logo of Thalam was unveiled by Prof. Hawahumma N, Secretary of college.
A major highlight of the event was the energetic live performance by the newly formed Thalam band, which captured the attention of the audience and marked a promising start for future cultural programmes. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Nivya Manoharan, Assistant Professor of Commerce.
