The Department of Arabic at MTM College of Arts, Science & Commerce was established in 2017 at the college campus in Veliyancode. In the same academic year, the department began offering Arabic as a Second Language for students, following modern curricula and innovative teaching methods.

Through classroom learning, seminars, language activities, and co-curricular programmes, the department strives to create an enriching environment where students can appreciate the richness of Arabic language, literature, and culture.

The Department of Arabic also aims to contribute to the academic growth of students by providing a strong language foundation that supports higher education, employment opportunities, and intercultural understanding.
