The Anti-Ragging Squad of MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Veliyancode, functions as the operational wing of the Anti-Ragging Committee. Constituted in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions and the guidelines of the University of Calicut, the Squad is responsible for maintaining constant vigilance across the campus to prevent ragging and ensure a safe learning environment.
The Squad conducts regular inspections of classrooms, corridors, hostels, canteens, playgrounds, and other student gathering areas to identify and prevent any incidents of ragging. It promptly responds to complaints, takes immediate preventive action, and reports matters to the Anti-Ragging Committee for further proceedings whenever necessary.
Through continuous monitoring, awareness programmes, and student interaction, the Anti-Ragging Squad works to promote discipline, mutual respect, and a culture of friendship among students, ensuring that every student feels safe and welcomed on campus.
