Program Overview
The programme offers students an in-depth understanding of literary texts and their linguistic, social, cultural, and political dimensions. It encourages learners to explore not only what literature says, but also how and why meanings are created.
Students engage with poetry, drama, fiction, prose, and cultural studies through interactive and participatory classrooms where teachers and students critically dialogue with texts. The course nurtures creativity, analytical ability, language proficiency, and social awareness.
Entry Requirements
Candidates who have successfully completed Higher Secondary / Plus Two or equivalent examination recognized by the University of Calicut are eligible for admission.
