The Entrepreneurship Development Club (ED Club) of MTM College was inaugurated in November 2018 with the objective of fostering entrepreneurial awareness and self-employment culture among students. The Club is officially registered with the District Industries Centre, Malappuram, Department of Industries, Government of Kerala (Reg. No: EDC/MLP/57/2018).
The club aims to create awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship in economic growth and personal career development. It encourages students to think innovatively, identify business opportunities, and develop the confidence required to become successful entrepreneurs.
The ED Club organizes a variety of programmes such as workshops, seminars, talent hunts, business idea competitions, management sessions, self-employment training, and interaction with entrepreneurs. These initiatives help students transform ideas into practical ventures and career opportunities.
The club plays a key role in developing leadership, creativity, decision-making ability, and risk-taking attitude among students.
To contribute to the nation’s economic and industrial development by creating awareness about entrepreneurship and by identifying and supporting potential entrepreneurs among students.
To conduct programmes such as self-employment workshops, idea incubation sessions, management meetings, talent hunts, and competitions that nurture entrepreneurial skills and transform students into future entrepreneurs.

The Entrepreneurship Development (ED) Club, in association with IQAC, organized a "Workshop on Stitching Skills" on January 3, 2025, with the aim of equipping students with essential stitching techniques. The workshop was specifically designed for ED Club members, and a total of 20 students participated in the event. Syam Prasad A V, Co-ordinator of the ED Club, led the program, ensuring its smooth execution.
