The department was established in 2026 with the introduction of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme under the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) of the University of Calicut. Since its inception, the department has been dedicated to providing a dynamic learning environment that combines academic excellence with industry-oriented education.
The department emphasizes experiential learning through seminars, workshops, industrial visits, internships, management fests, leadership development programmes, entrepreneurship initiatives, and skill enhancement activities. BBA Human Resource Management (FYUGP) is a four-year undergraduate programme affiliated with the University of Calicut. The curriculum covers Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Labour Laws, Compensation Management, Industrial Relations, Business Communication, Marketing, Financial Management, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, and Digital HR Practices. Students gain practical exposure through case studies, internships, industry interactions, and project-based learning.
BBA Finance (FYUGP) is a four-year undergraduate programme affiliated with the University of Calicut. The curriculum covers Financial Management, Accounting, Banking, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets, Taxation, Business Economics, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Digital Finance, and Emerging Financial Technologies.
