Thalam Music Band Celebrates World Music Day

VELIYANCODE, MALAPPURAM — To mark World Music Day 2026, the Thalam Music Band of MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce presented an event titled “Echoes of Happiness: Music for Smiles”. Held on June 23, 2026, at the Spectrum Buds Special School, this heartwarming initiative was organized by the Arts and Music Club in association with the Department of Commerce and IQAC. The program featured distinguished guests, including Maya Manoj (Member, Perumbadappu Block Panchayat) for the inauguration, Rajula Gafoor (Member, Maranchery Grama Panchayat) delivering the presidential address, and renowned Music Director Basheer Silsila as the chief guest. By bringing music to the students at the special school, the college aimed to foster joy and connection through the universal language of melody.
