Department of English  in association with IQAC conducted an essay competition in connection with Teacher’s Day. The topic of the competition was ‘The Role of Teacher in Pandemic Era’. Many stuents from various colleges participated enthusiastically.

Department of English in Association with IQAC  conducted a cartoon competition named “Viverra” on the day of remembrance of Professor Tolkien, who has touched our lives and inspired artwork .Almost 10 students participated.

Department of English, MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce in association with IQAC observed ‘World Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’ by conducting an online Awareness Programme on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and also reviewed a Bollywood movie named ‘Udta Punjab’,Language: Hindi,Director: Abhishek Choubey, Year of Release : 2016.  This day aims at combating misinformation and promotes sharing the facts on drugs and from health risks and solutions to tackle the world drug problem, to evidence-based prevention, treatment, and care.
