Anti-Drug Awareness Signature Campaign Programme

International Drug Abuse Awareness Day aims to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of drug abuse and promote preventive measures. MTM College's Department of English organised a signature campaign and an oath taking ceremony to educate students and faculty about these issues and foster a supportive community.

On 26th June 2024, the department observed International Drug Abuse Awareness Day through a signature campaign and oath ceremony. The Principal and Vice Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the dangers of drug use and the need for preventive action. A symbolic signature wall was created to show solidarity. The event aimed to educate students about drug abuse, encourage healthy choices, and strengthen their commitment to a drug-free life.
OLYMPIC MUSE: Where Literature Meets the Games

The Department of English, hosted an event titled "Olympic Muse: Where Literature Meets Games." The program was designed to blend the Olympic spirit with literary elements, fostering unity, competition, and cultural appreciation among students. Coordinated by Assistant Professor Amina Melethil and held in M-Block, the event was inaugurated by Dr. Fabitha Ibrahim, Head of the Department of English. Held on 21st June 2024, “Olympic Muse: Where Literature Meets Games” was a creative event that combined the Olympic spirit with literary expression. Conducted in collaboration with the IQAC, it was coordinated by Mrs. Amina Melathil and inaugurated by Dr. Fabitha Ibrahim. Students participated in various activities promoting unity, respect, and excellence. The event celebrated Olympic values through literature and games, encouraging students to engage physically and intellectually while appreciating global culture.
