Oath-Taking Ceremony – Elder Abuse Awareness

On 14th June 2024, the Department observed World Elder Abuse Awareness Day with an oath-taking ceremony. Students and faculty pledged to uphold respect, empathy, and care for the elderly. The event was held at the FDP Hall and led by Mrs. Amina Melathil, Assistant Professor. The ceremony emphasized values of dignity and responsibility towards elders and aimed to raise awareness about elder abuse and the importance of social sensitivity among students.

Orientation for Value-Added Programme

The English Department conducted an orientation titled “Unleash Your Career Potential with Enhanced English Skills” on 12th June 2024. Led by Dr. Fabitha Ibrahim, the session aimed to improve students’ communication skills for academic and professional success. It was inaugurated by the Principal and attended by faculty and students. The programme included welcome and felicitation speeches and concluded with a vote of thanks. The session focused on building English fluency and confidence among participants.
