The department, in association with Malabar Dental College Edappal, conducted a dental camp to promote oral hygiene and dental health awareness. Free dental check-ups and consultations were provided to students and community members, emphasizing preventive dental care and hygiene practices.

The department, in collaboration with the Perinthalmanna Blood Bank, organized two blood donation camps during the academic year. Students, faculty members, and staff voluntarily participated in this noble cause, contributing to emergency healthcare services. The camps successfully raised awareness about the importance of blood donation and saw an overwhelming response from first-time donors.

Kaithang is a free food material kit distribution program organized by the Department of Sociology, Students Initiative in Palliative care (SIP), in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on 13th June 2024.   The Sociology Department of MTM College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Veliyancode, organized a Food Kit Distribution Program for individuals facing difficulties in meeting their basic needs, particularly related to food scarcity.
