On October 3, 2023, the Department of Sociology at MTM College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, in collaboration with Ahlaya Eye Hospital, conducted an Eye Test Medical Camp at the N1 classroom. The program aimed to address the pressing issue of eye health within our local community, providing free eye tests and screenings, raising awareness, and fostering community engagement.

On 3rd October 2023, SIP, in collaboration with Ahlaya Eye Hospital and the Department of Sociology, conducted an Eye Test Medical Camp on the college campus. This initiative provided free eye tests and screenings to students and members of the community, raising awareness about the importance of eye health and promoting community engagement.

World Suicide Prevention Day Pledge and Human Chain
The Department of Sociology observed World Suicide Prevention Day on 11th September 2023 at 12:00 pm in the college campus. Led by Ms. Mubashira KP, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Abdul Wasih K.K, the event aimed to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health support. Principal John inaugurated the program, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being among students.
