Motivational Session - "Creating a Space for Your Own": A motivational session titled "Creating a Space for Your Own" was held on 1st March 2024 at venue N8, organized by the Department of Sociology in collaboration with New Foundation NGO. The session aimed to empower sociology students by emphasizing self-awareness and determination in carving out their paths in life.

Biriyani Challenge for Dialysis Patients Organized by the Students Initiative in Palliative Care and the Department of Sociology on 26th February 2024, the Biriyani Challenge aimed to raise funds for a dialysis patient's medical expenses. This initiative brought together students, teachers, and the local community to support a noble cause while enjoying a delicious meal.

On October 3, 2023, the Department of Sociology at MTM College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, in collaboration with Ahlaya Eye Hospital, conducted an Eye Test Medical Camp at the N1 classroom. The program aimed to address the pressing issue of eye health within our local community, providing free eye tests and screenings, raising awareness, and fostering community engagement.
