Eye Test Medical Camp    On 3rd October 2023, SIP, in collaboration with Ahlaya Eye Hospital and the Department of Sociology, conducted an Eye Test Medical Camp on the college campus. This initiative provided free eye tests and screenings to students and members of the community, raising awareness about the importance of eye health and promoting community engagement.

World Suicide Prevention Day Pledge and Human Chain The Department of Sociology observed World Suicide Prevention Day on 11th September 2023 at 12:00 pm in the college campus. Led by Ms. Mubashira KP, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Abdul Wasih K.K, the event aimed to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health support. Principal John inaugurated the program, emphasizing the importance of mental well-being among students.

Student Induction Programme 2023 From 1st to 8th August 2023, the Department of English, Sociology, and Computer Science organized "Iniziare 2K23," a comprehensive induction program for first-semester students. Designed to facilitate a smooth transition to college life, the program aimed to familiarize newcomers with the academic environment and campus culture.

Technological Skill Development Program A collaborative effort between the IT Cell, Sociology Department, and IQAC of MTM College resulted in the Technological Skill Development Program on 25th July 2023. The program, facilitated by Mr. NandaKumar C P, aimed to equip final year Sociology students with essential project tools, fostering their technological proficiency and enhancing their project management skills.
