The Health and Wellness Club of MTM College is established to promote healthy lifestyles, physical fitness, mental well-being, and overall wellness among students. The club aims to positively influence students’ habits, attitudes, and awareness regarding health, enabling them to achieve a balanced and productive life.
The club works closely with the institution’s commitment to holistic development by encouraging regular physical activity, preventive healthcare, emotional well-being, and healthy social behaviour. Physical Education forms an important part of wellness, and the club also introduces activities related to yoga, fitness, swimming, nutrition, weight management, mental wellness, laughter therapy, and healthy living practices.
Through awareness campaigns, workshops, fitness programmes, observance days, and community outreach, the club inspires students to adopt healthy and positive ways of life.
To organize and promote all health-related activities that support the physical, mental, and social well-being of students.
To function as a resource centre for the overall health, fitness, and wellness of students.

The Health and Wellness Club, in association with IQAC, organized an awareness session titled “Learn Basic Fitness Components” on 20/01/2026 at the Seminar Hall. The session was handled by Dr. Abdul Azeez, Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Education, MES Ponnani College
The Teachers' Health and Fitness Programme was organized on the 28th of August 2024 at MTM College, Veliyancode, in the yoga room. The session was conducted by Mr. Abdu Salam, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and In-Charge of the Health & Wellness Club.
On June 21, 2024, MTM College celebrated International Yoga Day with a grand event held in the College Conference Hall. The event commenced at 11:30 AM, bringing together students, faculty, and guests to acknowledge and appreciate the numerous benefits of yoga.
