The Film Club of MTM College is established to promote appreciation of cinema as an art form, a medium of learning, and a platform for creative expression. Films are among the most influential forms of media, capable of entertaining, educating, inspiring, and connecting people across cultures and communities.
The club believes that cinema has the power to encourage enlightenment, knowledge, empathy, and tolerance by reflecting the universality of human experiences. It provides students with opportunities to explore world cinema, storytelling, photography, direction, acting, editing, and technical aspects of film production.
The Film Club has identified and encouraged many talented students with interests in directing, photography, acting, designing, and visual creativity. It supports them through training programmes and participation in intercollegiate short film, photography, and fine arts competitions.
The club also creates a community of film lovers where students come together to watch, discuss, analyse, and enjoy meaningful cinema in an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere.
To provide a creative space where students engage with the art of film and motion picture, inspiring curiosity, imagination, and meaningful expression.
To promote and deepen the appreciation of cinema through film screenings, discussions, creative training, and active engagement with the medium of film.
